Passion is what creates a successful venture and passion is at the root of why I founded The Big Red Barn. While completing my Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies at Colorado State University, with a dual concentration in Early Childhood Professions and Leadership and Entrepreneurship, I found my true passion for Early Childhood Education, and knew it was where I was meant to be.
I began as a substitute teacher who worked with kids aged between six weeks and six years. From there, I found a love for working with infants and became a lead 1-year-old teacher. Eventually, I found a long-term position as a Lead Infant Teacher. After graduating, I began my leadership career as a Director, which soon blossomed into a new love for supporting not only our children, but our incredible teachers and parents as well.
Being in a classroom, I feel I am able to bring a fresh perspective to the business side of Early Childhood Education. I promise you that you will never find anyone more passionate about early childhood learning, who truly cares more about every aspect of education and communication.
I can’t wait to hear from you, and hope to soon welcome you into The Big Red Barn family!
