Alyscia Garcia | Director
My name is Alyscia Garcia, and I am thrilled to be joining the Big Red Barn as the new Director. My passion for making a positive impact in the lives of children led me to begin my career in early childhood education as an assistant teacher. Through dedication, hard work, and a love for this field, I grew into leadership roles and have spent the past six years serving as a director at a local, family-owned center.
I am deeply committed to fostering a strong, supportive community where teachers, children, and families can thrive together. I am genuinely looking forward to getting to know each of you and your wonderful children.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors during the warmer months, taking scenic drives, attending concerts, and participating in any activity involving water. I also cherish time spent with my two younger cousins and my two—soon to be three—nephews.
It is truly an honor to join the Big Red Barn community, and I am grateful for the warm welcome I have already received. I look forward to building meaningful relationships with our families and staff, and to working together to create a nurturing, supportive, and joyful environment where every child can flourish.
