Needing some prayers? We got you! If you would like our Big Red Barn Prayer Team to pray for something specific, you can submit prayer requests here! Remember no prayer is too big for our God and with community in prayer, anything is possible
Monthly Updates:
- We are so LUCKY to get to be apart of your child's educational journey!🍀💚
- Drop-off and Pick-up:
- To ensure the safety of your student, please make sure to check your student in and out using the playground app. Checking students in and out is the parent's responsibility and is crucial for keeping your child safe.
- As a reminder, please wash hands WITH your student every morning when you drop off your child. This simple act bring consistency to your student's morning routine, helps us teach about personal hygiene and the spread of germs, and encourages parents to slow down their drop off to allow your student to properly transition to school.
- Student's Belongings
- We have a lot of students and a lot of personal belongings, please help your teachers keep track of your student's personal items by writing your child's first AND last name on EVERY belonging that you bring to school.
- Crazy Colorado Weather:
- As you all know, Colorado is having a very weird winter! Please make sure to prepare your student for all of Colorado's weather. Even though we have warm weather, Mother Nature can change her mind at any moment.....please make sure to bring your child a jacket to school for our cooler mornings and our windy afternoons!
- Water Bottles:
- Please make sure to bring a water bottle that your student can independently open and close everyday. Hydration is extremely important and we want to make sure students have their own water bottles to fuel them throughout the day!
- BRB Utensils:
- During mealtimes, students are often given BRB utensils to eat their food. If a BRB utensil (colorful plastic spoons/forks) make their way home with your student, please make sure to return those utensils to your student's teacher:)
- Student's Art Folders:
- Each student has their very own art folder within their classroom. Please make sure you bring the art within those folders home every Friday so that you can see all of the hard work your students have put in and all of the masterpieces that they have made! (Please take the art home but leave the folder at school)
- Art Folder Locations:
- Ducklings: On the backside of the classroom door
- Porcupettes: On the backside of the classroom door
- Llamas: Behind the classroom door
- Roosters: Behind the classroom door
- Art Folder Locations:

- Visitor/Delivery Drivers at the Front Door:
- If you notice a delivery driver or a visitor who cannot get into the building with a code, please do NOT let them inside our school! Anyone who should be in our school has a door code. If there is a delivery driver/visitor wanting into our school, please let the teachers/admin know--do NOT let them inside--have them wait outside by the picnic table until an administrator can help them. Thanks for helping us keep the barn safe 🙂
The Big Red Barn Christian Academy:
- March 16th is the opening day of the Big Red Barn Christian Academy!🥳 Ms. Alicia and Ms. Brittany's last day at the BRB will be March 11th and will then have a new home at the Christian Academy.
- Help us spread the word and get fully enrolled! All in house referrals will recieve a 10% discount on 1 month's tuition!
Upcoming Months:
- On April 3rd, we will hold our annual Easter Egg Hunt as a celebration of Easter! Parent volunteers will help us set up the egg hunt at 3:30 pm and our kiddos will begin the egg hunt at 4pm! Families are welcomed to join us for the special celebration.

- MARK YOUR CALENDERS!!
- Your kiddos have been working hard with our Tippi Toe Partners and we will be hosting our dance recital on April 11th at 4pm (Address of the event will be shared in the near future!)
- Upcoming Parents Nights Out:
- Now that the chaos of preparing for the opening of the Christian Academy has calmed down, we are going to begin hosting Parent's Nights Out again! Future P.N.O.s will be held at the Christian Academy so that our infant families can participate as well. Look out for a playground message announcing when Parents Night Out will be for the month of April!
A Special Announcement:
- Ashley is.....PREGNANT!! We are SO excited to welcome our very first Big Red Barn Baby coming August 2026! Please help us congratulate Ashley and Ed on their little miracle.🌈🥳
Staffing Updates:
- Ms. Alyscia is offically the fulltime director for the BRB! We are SO excited for this new addition to our team and what she will bring to our facility. Jenny and Alyscia will make an incredible team to support your students and will truly help us all grow into better teachers, administrators, and children of God! Ms. Alyscia is an open book and has an open door policy.....so ASK HER ANYTHING! Feel free to explore her bio to get to know her a little bit more by clicking on the link 🙂
