Clyde’s Corner | July 2026

It's a new year!
- An email was sent out on June 21, 2026, containing our updated school calendar and revised Parent Handbook. If you have not already reviewed these documents, please take some time to do so.
- All updates and changes outlined in the handbook will take effect on August 1, 2026
New Classroom Rosters
- With the start of our new school year comes updated classroom rosters. Please be on the lookout for information regarding upcoming classroom transitions, as well as some adjustments within our toddler classrooms.

Field Day!
- We are excited to announce that our Field Day will be held on July 29th from 9:00 AM–11:30 AM!
- We will kick off our events at 9:00 AM, followed by a popsicle and bathroom break from 10:00–10:30 AM. After our break, we will continue with more Field Day activities beginning at 10:30 AM.
- To celebrate all of our hard work and fun, we will end the morning with a pizza party! There is no need to pack a full lunch for your child on this day unless they have dietary restrictions, allergies, or do not enjoy pizza.
- We would also love to invite all parents to join us for the festivities!
- We are looking forward to a day filled with fun, laughter, and great memories. We can't wait to celebrate with everyone!

Extra Clothes
- Now that we are in the full swing of summer, please take a moment to check your child's extra clothes at school and swap them out for weather-appropriate clothing.
- We have noticed that some extra clothing still includes long sleeves, sweatpants, and heavier items. When accidents happen, it can be uncomfortable for children to change into clothing that is too warm for the summer weather.
- Please make sure your child has a complete set of lightweight summer clothes, including a shirt, shorts, underwear, and socks, if applicable.
Parking Lot Updates
- After monitoring traffic patterns, we ask that parents ONLY use the drive-through lane during drop-off and pick-up. Since our parking lot is a small one way we ask that parents no longer drive down to the staff parking or back area for the safety of our children, families, staff, and facility as a whole.
- Please follow the traffic pattern:
  - The right side is for parking
  - The left side is for flowing traffic and the drive-through lane.
- Parents should not park in the staff parking spaces or drive down to the backside of the building. These areas must remain clear at all times from hear on out.
- These procedures are in place to ensure the safety of all children, families, and staff and to keep traffic moving smoothly. We appreciate your immediate cooperation in following the updated traffic flow.
