Clyde’s Corner | July 2025
Welcome to Clyde's Corner
We are Back😎
Needing some prayers? We got you! If you would like our Big Red Barn Prayer Team to pray for something specific, you can submit prayer requests here! Remember no prayer is too big for our God and with community in prayer, anything is possible❤️
We want to give a HUGE thank you to all our amazing donors. Our Natural playground has been one of our greatest additions and has brought so much to our program! We could not have done it without you all rallying together and supporting our cause and I will never be able to say thank you enough. For those who haven't seen our tribute on the stumps, I encourage you to check it out and find your name with your kiddos! Your legacy will forever be burned into our natural playground❤️ Also a big thank you to Ms. Alicia for taking the time to wood burn the stumps!

- UPK Reminder: Universal Pre-K only pays facilities for the school year months (August-May). New UPK rates will go into effect August 1st!
- We sent our an email update with all things regarding our 2025-2026 School Year!
- Check our new Parent Handbook, Updated Tuition Rates, and Annual School Calendar!
- Summer Clothes Reminders: With the warm weather, we will be spending as much time outside as we can! As our summer outfits start to make their way out please remember that if your child is wearing a dress, they must have shorts or leggings on underneath. We do a lot of active gross motor play here and want to make sure are kiddos are prepared for any activity throughout the day! We also advise against sandals as they are much harder for children to run around and play in. Please let us know if you have any questions, we are so excited for the change in weather!🌞
- Our New Toddler Classroom and The Little Red Barn Nursery are now up and running and we hope to get back to being fully staffed and enrolled by August for the new school year! If you know of anyone who has a passion for teaching littles please refer them our way🥰
- Our Natural Playground has been up and running for almost a month now and the children have been loving it! From free range running, to exploring the sandbox our kiddos are absolutely thriving in this space!
- Our new classroom schedules have also proven to be benefiting all our classrooms and we want to say THANK YOU for the efforts that have been put into the new drop off time. As a reminder, our school day starts at 8:30 am which is our new drop off cut off. This has significantly helped the flow of our classrooms, given teachers the needed support, and have provided consistency for our children that they needed! Moving forward our 8:30 am school day start will continue school wide.
Upcoming August Events:
- Graduation will be held on August 1st! Due to many of our graduates leaving prior to the summer, we do not have as many as many August Graduates as we thought we would, so we will host an afternoon party during the school day to celebrate them! We will not be hosting an actual ceremony. Families are welcome!
- We will be CLOSED August 4th-8th for Summer Break
- Our New School Year will start when we get back from vacation on August 11th. Be on the lookout for transition emails for new classroom rosters for the new school year!
Staffing Updates
Ms. Jenny will officially be transitioning into her Assistant Director role upon her return from vacation and will begin the role fulltime with the new school year on August 11th. We are so proud of all of her growth over the last year, and and can not wait to see how she touches all the classrooms. Ms. Jenny was our founding teacher in the Rowdy Rooster classroom and has poured her whole heart into those Pre-K students. She has such a passion for making sure every student feels seen and supported and this is why she will make an incredible administrator!
As we close our first school year we would like to introduce our new lead Pre-K Teacher, Ms. Walker!🥳 Our future Pre-K students are in amazing hands with Ms. Walker and we are so excited to see how her passion and education bleed into our Rowdy Rooster Classroom. Check out her Bio here!
Meet Sharon and Jordan! Both are nursing students and have quite the passion for caring for others❤️ As support teachers they will mainly help with daily lunch breaks and subbing!
Meet Mr. Jonah! While he can only be with us for the summer until he has to get back to his 3rd grade class, Mr. Jonah has been such a light to our Preschool and Pre-K classrooms!
