🍂Turkey Day is Coming!🍂

Needing some prayers? We got you! If you would like our Big Red Barn Prayer Team to pray for something specific, you can submit prayer requests here! Remember no prayer is too big for our God and with community in prayer, anything is possible

Monthly Updates:

• We are SO thankful that God has brought everyone of you to the barn! Each of your families bring a special blessing into our BRB family and we appreciate everyone of you!
• One Stop Shop for Pick Up & Drop Off
  • We are now actively using our new drop-off/pick-up strategy using backpacks🎒 If you would like to participate, please make sure the backpack has 2 straps and is small enough for your student to independently carry!
  • If your student does not have a backpack, your student's belongings will be in their cubbies for parents to pick-up! 
  • For Drop-off, please have your student bring their backpacks down to the playground and hang them on the outside of the fence. This is how their backpacks will be for pick-up at the end of the day!
  • There are QR codes all throughout the school and on the way down to the playground for your connivence.- checking in your scholar using BW is the parent's responsibility 
  • We are very excited to be able to provide this new procedure to help ease the stress for our families during drop-off and pick-up times! However, since starting this new procedure, we have noticed that a lot of families are not checking their child in/out using Brightwheel. We want to make sure every child is accounted for and is properly checked in by their parents-especially now that students do not have to pass by the front desk. Please help us keep your kiddos safe by making sure you check in your student everyday! 
• Parent Teacher Conferences
  • Parent-Teacher conferences are happening as we speak!
  • Sign-up sheets will be posted on your student's classroom door the week prior to conferences. Please keep an eye out for these to sign up!💙
• BRB Clothing Lists
  • To help us keep track of the BRB clothes that students borrow, we have placed BRB clothing lists in every classrooms. If your student borrows BRB clothes, their name, the date, and the type of clothing provided will be documented on these lists. When parents return the clothes, we will erase their name from the list. Hopefully, this will help us keep track of our clothes! 😁
• 'Tis the Season for Sweaters and Sniffles!
  • It is getting a wee bit chilly!🥶 Please make sure your kiddo (s) are properly prepared and dressed for Colorado's crazy weather! We want your students enjoy the opportunity to explore and play in all types of weather, but we cannot do that without your help!
  • For the fast approaching cold weather, please make sure your student has a big coat/jacket, gloves (preferably waterproof), a warm hat, and shoes that keep their toes warm!
  • We have noticed that students' feet are getting very cold, very quickly when sockless and wearing shoes with holes in them. If you want your kiddo in crocs, please make sure they have warm socks on in preparation for the cold!
• If your scholar has a sibling or a 'soon-to-be younger sibling' that you would like to enroll at the barn at some point, please reach out to admin so that we can get you on our priority waitlist and on our radar!
• Snowy Weather Prep❄️: As a reminder, we follow Jeffco public schools for weather related closures. If Jeffco is closed, so are we. If they have a late start we open at 9:00 am and if they have an early release we close at 3:30 pm.
